The Shift in Styling Products

As I am So Much Moisture is not a product that would have “worked” for me before I started the 30 Day Hair Detox. It is a super loose liquidy product…but it left my hair feeling so extremely soft. It is a glycerin and aloe-based no-hold styler, and perfect for stretching my hair.

The product contains absolutely no oils or butters, so I will use a no-hold styler…likely Innersense quiet calm to add a little lubrication as a styling aid when flat twisting my hair.

Mindset Shift

I am getting intentional about hair care and I like it. I am choosing products based on styling goals and moisture rather than weight. Before the 30 Day Hair Detox I assumed my hair needed the weight of oil and butters to tame it. I realize that is not necessarily true.

I have an appointment with a cut it kinky stylist next week…I am nervous but excited
