I’ve been using Trepadora’s Bamboo Ginseng Glaze for 3 years now and it has NEVER failed me. Whenever I use this gel I get firm, shiny curls, that set fast. I’ve used Trepadora’s Bamboo Ginseng Glaze with everything including leave-ins, botanical gels, serumss, and styling foam. These are Trepadora’s instructions for how to use Bamboo Ginseng Glaze:

“Apply our strong hold styling gel through soaking wet curly hair then style. Air dry or diffuse. Scrunch to soften hold once dry. Anti-frizz. Anti-humidity.”

However, I have densely packed fine/medium strands and the cost of using this gel as a solo styler would add up extremely quickly. I used the method taught by Black Girl Curls of applying a base layer of a botanical gel and then following up with an anti humectant topper. So when I use Bamboo Ginseng Glaze, 90% of the time I am using it as an anti-humectant topper,

Only Use Trepadora Bamboo Ginseng Glaze on SOAKING Wet Hair

This product is concentrated and in order to distribute it properly through my hair I need lots of water. Lots of water also helps to ensure that the product does not flake. Most of the time I am using Bamboo Ginseng Glaze with Uncle Funky Daughter’s Curly Magic which I’ve applied in the shower. Curly Magic is a botanical gel that holds onto ALOT of water, so my hair stays dripping wet for a while after getting out of the shower.

If you are using Trepadora Bamboo Ginseng Glaze as a solo styler, either apply in the shower or be sure to keep a spray bottle nearby to get the most out of this styler.

Don’t Scrunch for Longer Lasting Curls with Bamboo Ginseng Glaze

When I want longer lasting curls I leave the cast for Bamboo Ginseng Curling Glaze undisturbed. This gives me an extra day of longevity in my Wash and Go. The cast normally starts to break on its own on Day 2 releasing fuller curls.
